Join us for our monthly scheduled fishing club meeting.  In addition to conducting our administrative business, we welcome prospective members, provide updates on fishing trips, and present fishing-related information. Following the meeting, we head out to a local eatery to continue socializing.

Bert Williams will provide a hands-on talk for those interested in fly fishing, but who are not sure what to get in the line of equipment. Bert will bring a variety of fly lines, reels, backing and fly rods (in fibreglass, cane and carbon fibre) and will explain how to select and match the components to build a usable fly fishing rod.  He will also give a basic demonstration of tapered tippets or leaders. and hand tied leaders with tippet rings.  The intent of the presentation is to eliminate any confusion for those who wish to start fly fishing.
