About the event

Join us for our monthly scheduled fishing club meeting.  In addition to conducting our administrative business, we welcome prospective members, provide updates on fishing trips, and present fishing-related information.  Following the meeting, we head out to a local eatery to continue socializing.

Doug Blanchflowre will give a presentation on critter awareness, highlighting some of the apex predators and lesser annoying animals that you might meet while camping or travelling to or from your fishing site.  He'll discuss the do's and don'ts for grizzly and black bears, how to recognize each, what to do, and what to carry with you.  He'll also talk about cougars, wolves, coyotes, moose, deer, rattle snakes and skunks.

Aside from presenting the facts, Doug will share a few experiences, funny or otherwise, from his own personal experiences encountering various critters. Audience experiences and input are welcome.  The presentation is intended to helpful for both the anglers and campers.
